Houston's Restaurant, Pasadena

I was craving Houston s ceasar salad, so we went to Houston s for dinner. I was surprised to see that their prices had raised again, salad size was smaller and there was sediment at the bottom of my wine glass. Very disappointing after looking forward to dinner. The manager was very apologetic and gave me a gift card for another visit. It is nice to know that Houston s still values their customers and takes care of them when their visit is less than great.

Food is always so good! Be prepared!! They have raised their prices.

What a fantastic place. We enjoyed lunch so much. My sister graudated with her masters. We wanted to celebrate. The staff worked together so well. It was such a great display of teamwork. Our server was Diana! She was so accomdating, and gracious. The food tasted amazing. It was so delious. Even my picky daughter was able to enjoy herself. We live 3.5 hours away, I am excited to say we will be back. I can't wait to bring my husband. Thanks Houstons the staff and Diana. Emily Irvin

You know your at a good restaurant when you have a bad meal and the waiter is willing to remove your meal from the bill. It's not 100% of the time great but for the most part I have been coming here over the years with minor complaints. The other night I was here with my loved one and I always recommend The Hawaiian Rib-eye or the knife and fork which is no longer the name but that is how I remember it. The place has been slightly redesigned and I think they added music but in general it is a dim inside and I always like the company I'm with. We started the meal with the Artichoke dip and that came out pretty swiftly. My drink took a bit of time to come out which kinda upset me but I got over it as soon as it came. I guess that drink doesn't have all you can drink anymore but oh well. I never recommend the burgers cause I never tried it but my date wanted one and was she dissatisfied. You know when the meal sucked when you play with your food and you don't finish it. She was going to let it go and pay for it but I had to intervene when the server asked about our meal. I gave her the eh not that good and she immediately removed the dish in question. I ordered the knife and fork and finished it. My date said it was too dry for her but it tasted fine to me. It would be hard to say my dish didn't taste good since i wiped the plate clean. I do enjoy Houston's 98% of the time and today is no exception. I dig great service when it occurs most times.

Great food and great service, what more do you need?

Have you heard . . . After almost 15 years dining at Houston's in Pasadena, they now offer RESERVATIONS . . . . Wow . . . No need to wait 30 to an hour to eat! Love it!

I was there last week in LA and they had great food and great services as well. Will definitely be back soon.

FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! I ate a veggie burger with a hint of bbq flavor, & guests ate a fish sandwich served with coleslaw & California burger.I like how the french fries are extra slender cut. Althou we did not order dessert, the dining, lighting & decor was very dark with a pleasant , cheerful atmosphere. I noticed the wall decor had two ancient wooven indian rugs, & a koi fish pond. We were not seated right-away there was a 20 minute wait & all ball caps must be removed upon entering the dining area! I love an adventure so if i'm ever in the area i'l certainly stop off to grab a burger or two- GOOD TO EAT, and wholesome to digest!

one of my favorite places to eat. eveything on the menu is great, even the desserts are filling and very tasty. it does get busy so plan on making reservations or you could have to wait up to an hour on a weekend night.
