very rude staff, food is not fresh....Kamal Indian on PCH restaurant is much better. I know it is a family owned restaurant by local folks but they are just rude...No class.....I will never go back again....
This is an outstanding Indian restaurant. We have been going to this place for more than 8 years. We always enjoy their lunch buffet. You can try many different dishes with their buffet. The food is the best Indian food I have had. It is always served with fresh Indian bread. Caution: the combination of good food and all you can eat is not good. I highly recommend Natraj Indian Restaurant in Long Beach.
Great food, good location, very friendly: I'm always on the lookout for a good Indian restaurant when I travel to different places, which can be hard when you're used to eating perfect home cooked meals. This place is my favourite restaurant in the area. The food is authentic and very, very tasty, particularly the lamb dishes - the biriyani, vindaloo, saag, and rogan josh are all fantastic. The chicken dishes are not bad, either, though I am most fond of the chicken tikka. The vegetable dishes are not the best I have ever had - the bhindi is more salty than I care for, and the channa is a bit mild, but I would still order both again sometime. The appetizers are all good - I was surprised to see keemah samosas on the menu, and even more so when I tasted how well they were made here. If you're looking for Indian food, especially if you're non-vegetarian, this is certainly a place to visit sometime. The buffet is small, though, and as with any Indian buffet, it is very bland in flavour. If you want a really good meal, order it off of the menu instead - they will serve to your order of spiciness and flavour.
Very good food. They can make meals spicy or not. If you're unfamiliar with Indian food, come to the lunch buffet. One can sample lots of things, and find out what you like for next time. It has both indoor and sidewalk outdoor tables. But this is Belmont Shore - never enough parking.
We've been going to Natraj for years, but since we recently went there, I felt prompted to write a review. Natraj has an excellent lunch buffet during the week and a champagne buffet on the weekends. The buffet is safe for those who don't like their food spicy. However, when you order a regular meal from the regular menu, you can get it as hot as you like, and we like it HOT! My favorite dishes is the chicken tikka makhani and the lamb saag, but there is plenty of good stuff for everyone, even vegetarians. The owners are the serve staff and they are always very friendly and welcoming, especially Amarjit. You can sit outside on the small patio and watch the people go by while you enjoy your delicious Indian meal.
