Christy's Ristorante, Long Beach

Christy's is absolutely fabulous!! The food is wonderfully prepared and presented. They have a full bar as well, which is a compliment their award winning wine list. Besides the great menu, wonderful drink/wine list and the beautifully helpful/pleasant wait staff, the atmosphere is soothing and romantic but yet stimulating to the eye and the heart as well. One of the things I most look forward to when going to dine at Christy's is the artwork on the walls of the bar and sitting area. They have a knack for finding just the right artist to compliment the feel of the establishment, but to also stimulate a wonderful conversation about art. Sometimes, if you watch for the announcements in the local papers, its possible to drop in on a Thursday night when an artist reception is underway. They will generally have the artist available to answer questions and discuss their motivation. It's a fun time. I hadn't been to Christy's in several years, though always loved the food and atmosphere, but decided to go back when I heard of the ownership change. I was a little worried that something already so wonderful would be retooled and changed, I must say, I'm very pleased – they’ve done a great job of not breaking something that was already working, while adding little alterations here and there to make it just that much better.. If you like fine food and wine, or you have a passion for fine art, give it a try, you wont be disappointed. I’m happy to be a regular customer again.

The not so new owners are just great. They have great wine dinners and are just so sweet. When they bought the place, they really didn't change a thing which is the way to do it! Great food, great service and just the best of times. Even teh valets are nice.

i've been to christy's twice now in less than two months and i can not wait to go back. the food is excellent. we started off with their rigatoni con carne wich is THE BEST rigatoni i've ever had. i also highly recomend the filet with gorganzola cheese, amazing! Christy's is a great restaurant with excellent food. you will not be disappointed.
