Aladdin Grill and Cafe, Long Beach

First, this is the worst place we have ever been to. DO NOT GO. They change the prices on you, even when the price is clearly printed on their menu. Instead, when questioned, they tell you they can change the price anytime. Really bad business practices. WHEN THE MENU SAYS $13.00 HOOKAH check your receipt, we are certain he charged you more. That is taking advantage of people. Second, the owner is the most rude and inattentive person. He tells customers that he is a busy man when they want to talk to him (but all he was doing was flirting with females). He refuses to offer any kind of solution to the menu price and what he feels he wants to charge you at that time. We were highly disappointed because we have been to several hookah bars and nightclubs and never had this happen. We just arrived, were seated at a table immediately after paying the cover and when we realized he was going to charge more than the menu price, we obviously wanted the menu price. Since the owner would not give it to us, we wanted a refund of our cover charge and wanted to leave immediately. He told us NO. He did not seem to care that genuinely honest people wanted to enjoy their time, and instead rudely told us he did not care if we were going to buy drinks, food, and hookah, and that he was willing to lose our business and more money over his greediness. He refused to give us the menu price and then after that did not work, he refused to refund our cover charge and instead chose to lose the several hundred dollars our group was going to spend there. The really rude part was that he would not come talk to our table, and instead made US get up and track him down to go and talk to him, he would not even listen to the waiter when we asked to speak to him. He was only flirting with a female by handing her a rose and touching her. Not to mention, his unwillingness to truly see honest genuine customers who wanted honest service. It really shows he has no respect for his customers or his employees (the owner then interrupted our conversation and started yelling at employees about putting him in a bad position when another situation was unfolding ....like it was their fault for his bad choices). There are much better clubs and hookah places around, so do not bother coming here.
