Pfchang's China Bistro, Long Beach

I was at PF Chang's on three occasions in late December, early January 2012. The hostesses and staff were excellent! I read the person's comment about how they felt somehow shunned being of another race, and I cannot believe it! All three days I was there I saw Blacks, Asians, Hispanics, and Whites treated equally and with smiles. Sometimes, when they were very busy, maybe the hostesses forgot their smile, but only due to traffic and diligence to their jobs. Once waited on, the waiters and waitresses, of many ethnic backgrounds, treat you like royalty. As the one person said, we ALL need to practice the Golden Rule. If you come in happy, usually you will be accepted happy! I enjoyed my food, and especially the men and women who make up PF Changs. Today, I consider them friends, and I am from Wisconsin! I was there for the Rose Bowl and to see my son and his family. My experience was at least 4.7 stars, giving them the opportunity to even get better, but still an A grade. We did not feel very welcome by the staff (mostly white) when we enter. Most of them just look at us and went the other way. Finally, a lady brought us to our table and she was not friendly either. We felt like she don't want us there. However, the mexican guy who serve our food provided a good service. The food are fine and the prices are ok. But come on, you should match your price with good service where everybody feels welcome regardless of race. We will try other PF Chang's Restaurant and see if race is really an issue here or just here in Long Beach.

Ate with a party of 10. At least they set the table so we could share. However, the food is VERY OVERPRICED. Bass was the only tasteful fish compared to the Mahi Mahi and Salmon. Service was fair. Not trying to throw the racist card, but they should mix the staff up a bit. I felt like I was being served at a Abercrombie & Fitch store...mainly caucasian waiters/waitresses. A mom & pop joint could've made better cheaper food.

Great dessert at good price, I like their fried banana with coconut icecream. However, food is terrible. All four items we ordered were either too salty or too oily, yuck! We chose outdoor seating, and that was a mistake because the table, chairs and the floor were filthy. The waiter disappeared after he dropped off the food. Unfortunately, we have another $50 gift card to use with them, so next time we’ll go for dessert and sit inside (hopefully it is cleaner there).

Ive been here with my girlfriend.......the food was great and the service was great also! Its a very nice and fancy place to dine with your girlfriend or couple. =)

uhh dude dont ever go to a restaurant 30 minutes before they close. the waiters, hosts, servers, bartenders, kitchen hate it. you will get bad service and the staff will hate u automatically. additionally, many restaurants will close early on a night that they don't get much business especially sundays. if you are eating dinner at 1030 on a sunday you should try out taco bell. you are a dumb@ss. i have been to this pf changs several times and have received good service everytime and good food.

We called at 10 p.m. on a Sunday to see how late they served food. The host who answered the phone informed us 11 p.m. We showed up at 10:30 p.m. and after paying to park the car found the doors to the restaurant locked, and no one at the host stand to open them. Very disappointing.

The food is greate, but the service sucks.. the waiters are so rude!!!

Me and my boyfriend just tryed this place out this weekend...And OMG! not only is this place romantic (if they seat you by the windows in the back) but i just loved the lighting in this restaurant, its all dimned lighting...the food was just great...i hat a hot tea...forgot the name of it, but it was great...the chow mein was great fried frice OMG!!! Try it out ill be sure you'll love it.

It's the best American Chinese food we have ever had. There's a full bar and its casual/nice dress. The ambience is loud, good place to go hang out with friends and family and its not expensive.
