Tequila Jack's, Long Beach

I miss the old Tequila Jack s with the self serve nacho bar and the giant mango margaritas that were served in margarita glasses!!!!!!!! Those were the days! Not so much now. :(

This place sucks. I ordered a Shrimp Quesadea and I got toenails for shrimp. The Margaritas are watered down...Don't go there.

Went there for their happy hour special, $1 tacos :) We were seated immediately and the waiter brought our drinks and chips and salsa right away. I was dissapointed with their salsa and carne asada, but the chicken taco and carnitas taco were very good! We had great service. I would definatly go back!

OMG, Seriously, STAY AWAY from this place. It had been a long time since I'd been to TJ's, because the previous visit was terrible. The place was remodeled, so I was hoping for better management and service. Last nights visit started off well enough, we had 4 different wait staff stop-by to check on drinks and food. But once we got our food (quite fast I should add) - POOF! everyone was gone. Even after we specifically asked for our waiter to come back to get us more drinks, we STILL had to wait and wait and wait. Finally, we got up and went to find the manager before leaving. He did nothing but make excuses. There's no excuse for all the extra staff they had floating around there and the tables not getting service. I paid the bill, stiffed the waiter on a tip and told him how I felt. Never again. It's a perfect spot for a nice evening near the water, but I'm not willing to pay those prices for food and drinks to be ignored.

I went to taco tuesday and it took forever to get service. The waitress only came to take the order and drop of the food. Didn’t get a refill on my drinks. Wouldn't go again even if the tacos are a buck on tuesdays

This place has average mexican food and average service - nothing great, but the location can't be beat (not in Long Beach anyway), you can sit out on their patio right on the water/harbor and they have about 100 kinds of tequila.

I definitely DO NOT recommend this place. The waitress didn't come to our table until about 5 minutes after we sat down, and that's a long time considering there weren't any people. The food was not great at all. My friend even said she got food poisoning the last time she went. Management is HORRIBLE!!! I ate really fast so I can get out of there as soon as I could!!! I wouldn't spend a dime at this place EVER AGAIN!!

I love this place. Taco Tuesday is the best! My friends and I go to watch some games on the patio and have some great tacos.

very good bartenders and the drinks wre really good try the orange mojito its no joke. also great view and atmosphere. great place 2 hang out and drink.

Tequila Jack's was once one of my favorites. It used to be a perfect location for a good meal, cold beer and wonderful atmosphere... then something happened. I don't know what, but the food and service are terrible. I ate there with a friend last night. The food came out hot and fast, because there were only 3 customers in the entire place!! I thought it was the weather keeping customers away, but then I tasted the good - ACK!!! And to top off evening, the waitress was rude and mouthy, while the manager stood-by and watched. I've dropped my last dime in that hole!! Don't waste your time or your money - this place is WAY too expensive for such lousy food and service.
