I liked the Chicago Dog, but one of my favorite things of the Chicago Dog is the green relish. Mustard's uses a brown mustard that's good, but I miss the green relish.
Everything else about the dog was good. Apparently they use to buy their green relish at Sam's Club, but people complained about it, so they went to brown.
Just like home...Chicago, that is! When trying to convince my SoCal neighbors what a real hot dog should be like, I can tell them that Mustard's is the real deal. The ambiance is authentic, both Northside and Southside are equally represented, so anyone from the Chicagoland area will feel right at home. I will be having lunch there today!
