Formerly known as The Bird of Paradise, the Paradise Piano Bar is now more popular as the Paradise. A gay establishment, the bar is one of the few live music venues offering varied entertainment to its visitors. A delightful Piano Bar with a full-fledged restaurant, Paradise offers a wide variety of good quality wine and cocktails. A cool hang-out for youngsters, the place also offers happy hours and theme nights, hosting live music events and band concerts. Visit the website for event schedule and reservations.
I love this place~ The prices are so much better then West Hollywood or Beverly Hills where I pay up to $ 20.00 a drink. Love the owners~The service is always wonderful. I drive all the way down from Beverly Hills~ If it were not good I would not waste my time! Try it you will like it too!!
Heading down to dinner there next week-end!! Xx Marcus Doucette'
PS: Problem is I never meet anyone to date :((
Horrible service, food even worse. Sour mash potatoes, cold over salted brocilli. For a meal that cost me over 40 bucks I could have gone to carrows for prime rib for 1/3 the price and been happier.
TERRIBLE FOOD and not Worth the money. SAVE IT, your money that is.
Park pantry is a step up if your that hungry
Horrible service and mediocre food highlight this pretentious excuse for a sophisticated restaurant and bar. If you are used to small town charm, you might find it somewhat elevated but if you know quality urban fare, don't waste your time.
My boyfriend and I went here for dinner last night and it was EXCELLENT - food, service and atmosphere were all great! Monday nights they have a two for one entree menu - I had salmon and he had steak, both dinners come with potatos, veggies and salad - both were great - and there are drink discounts too ($2-$3 beers and $6 martinis). Our waiter was Tim, he was fabulous. The only thing missing was the mocha I wanted!
My husband and I went for brunch for the first time last Sunday and were surprised to find such a wonderful buffet with a wonderful assortment of entrees and also made to order dishes. I had the crab cake benedict and it could not have been better. The desserts were beautifully presented with the cream brulee and cheesecake our favorites. To add to the ambience, a piano player and champagne! We can't wait to go back!
I really enjoyed having dinner at the Paradise. This was my first time coming her. My partner and I had been wanting to go there but never really took the time until last week. The food was incredibly good. The service could use a little boost but overall it was an amazing experience and the ambience was great. Very romantic and classy.
Hadn't been to the paradise in a few years, stopped by to find out new owners had taken over. What a difference! Very nice decor, piano bar with Rob playing Sunday brunch and Wednesday evenings. Best entertainer I've seen in a long time. Gary the waiter and Eric the bartender were also wonderful. Tell all your friends to check this place out. Loved it so much we went back for the amazing champagne brunch. Good times!
