Had a bad experience. I took my Mom for her Birthday here. The waiter was not friendly and just took our order and brought our food didn t even care to ask how our meat was. He ignored our table, my Mom and I notice he wouldn t ask us if everything was okay and if we needed anything else but he did to the other three tables he was serving. When he passed by us I asked him for a to go box he ignored me and I had to ask again. Never, again will I come to this location. That s the second time this has happen to me here. I get better service at T.G.I.F. friday s next time I am taking my Mom there for dinner.
My boyfriend and I just got back from Black Angus. Normally I am in no rush to write a review but this experience was not only humiliating but horrific. So...we received a coupon in the mail for a 4 course dinner for two for only $37. We arrive at BA around 9pm; our waitress is polite and friendly. Everything is going great. Appetizers were delicious, environment was suttle, and so our dinner arrives. My boyfriend orders the prime rib and I order the New York steak with wild rice and garclic mashed potatos. First bite into my steak and I am very impressed. The steak taste great, kuddos to the chef! So I continue on sampeling my plate and work my way back to my steak and on my third bite I noticed something underneath my steak. I see what appears to be a hair!!! At first I was quite sceptical and thought maybe i was seeing things but as I take a closer look and examine what is underneath my steak, I noticed that not only is this a hair; this is a pubic hair!!!! I was disgusted! I take a minute to evaluate the situation and considering that I had only taken 3 bites out of my steak and barely touched my side kicks, I decide to descretely tell the waitress that there is a pubic hair in my plate. Ok so about a minute later the manager comes out and apologizes for what she claimed to have been a corn hair!!!!!! Corn hair my a**. She offered to bring out another plate but by this time my appetite was ruined. She offered to take this item off our bill. I gladly accepted but declined another plate to be brought out to me. I did not sit there and argue with the manager about what type of hair this really was but I was OFFENDED by the fact that she did not take full responsibilty for what happend. I know it was not her fault but I would have much rather gotten a sincere apology as appose to a lame excuse that you would tell a 5 year old. I was offended by this and felt humiliated because it was very clear that it was a pubic hair!! I am never again going back to Black Angus. This is very unsanitary and unecceptable. It was very embarrasing for me to have to bring this to their attention. I hope that this does not continue to happen. I am seriously considering contacting the health department in hopes that this will never happen again.
