Everything is good here! I recently tried something new about a week ago. I had turkey chops and was a little scared after I order them. But they were awesome! The lemonade is a bit too sweet. But everything is good!
The food was excellent! However....the service was totally the opposite. I come from the south & well....miss the homecooking & the sweetness of the south. It really is a shame. I went back a second time & it was even worse. Again, the food was so good, but the lack of service just killed ay desire to go back. I hope they get it straight. Be blessed!
This restaurant has HORRIBLE customer service. I don’t know if family members work there or what, but these people have no common sense when it comes to good customer service. Food is pretty good, but not worth the disrespect that goes a long with it. It sad to say but this M&M restaurant is not a good representation of a good black owned business. Vinnie Mac needs to train his employees better!!!!
Not that great. You really don't have a person sit there for 20 minutes before you tell him you ran out of what they order. It's really bad when you try to support the small restaurant, and really sad when its black own. I drove 20 miles just to support m&m. They really should be a shame. Never again. I will be going to the one on Carson in Lakewood, oh I forgot its Eve's now. Better food, same price, they treat you like you're with respect.
I've been going to this M&M's since it was first on avalon blvd. As much as I love soul food, the wait and customer service is so bad that I will NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!! The last time I tried to order food they told me that they weren;t serving fried foods that day (the fryer was broken), the time before that I tried to place a to go order and was told that they were closing in 30 minutes and I could not place my order..My last experience was the worst...I arrived at 6:24pm and ordered 2 fried chicken dinners, after 35 min I was told it was going to take 10 more minutes for the chicken, after 18 minutes I was told 10 more minutes...I just left...They have the worst customer service!!!! They only had 1 person taking orders and giving out food, and they only had one server for all the dine in customers. When I called back to speak to a manger of course nobody was there, big surprise!
Take my advice and go down the street to Jay Bee's barbecue, there food is excellent and they have been featured on Guys Big Bite on the food network.
My dad wanted to take me to lunch one day at a new resturant he saw that had opened up near our work. He told me it was a soul food rsturant that that he heard had great food. I had never been to a soul food resturant. I love soul food though, so it sounded good! We walked in and the place is small but busy! We were the only white folks in there, so I knew it had to be great! We sat down to look at the menu and they had all the great stuff from, fried chick, BBQ Ribs and chicken, to Pork Chops and Cat fish! They had collared greens, mac & cheese, potatoes salad, and corn bread! I didn't know what to get. It all sounded so great!! I decided to try the Pork Chops, Mac & Cheese, and potatoes salad. IT WAS THE BEST PORK CHOPS I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!! They were so good with in a few days, I was craving them again. Now every 2 weeks, my dad, my two sisters, and I all meet there and have lunch. There are alot of people that go there now, so many that sometime there is no where to sit! I have to get the Pork Chops everytime cause I can't find them like that anywhere else! We all try different sides everytime and so far there isn't one thing I didn't like! EVERYTHING ON THE MENU IS GREAT! From the chicken to the grilled cheese!!!
