I visited due to high rated review, very disappointed. Nothing good to state for this sushi place, tiny quantity of main dish, over cooked, finished in 2 bites, too expensive for the quantity of food, taste is so so. Not recommended.
I love this place!! Whenever we are doing sushi we go to Mamas and never come out disappointed.
Happy hour is the best!
My favorite rolls are the crunchy roll, rainbow, and dragon roll I recommend them
I have been going to Mama's Sushi for over 2 years. it was great place for a long time. The prices slowly started going up. Fine i know things are getting hard, but my last visit was poor. If you go during happy hour you get a $9.00 sushi roll for $6.00. but they cut it very small and thin on the fish, and I mean thin. You really are not getting that $9.00 dinner roll during happy hour. I went to dinner on a Friday night and got a $9.00 dinner sushi roll for $9.00. What came back was a happy hour $6.00 sushi roll as a regular roll. This is unacceptable. if you are going to make cut back you should never cut back on the quality of the food.
Mamma had me at sexy roll! I really like this place, it's my favorite little sushi place. I believe the actual name of this restaurant is Mamma's Sushi, but anyway... it's clean, casual, comfortable and the rolls are tasty. I especially like the sexy roll and the spider roll. You should def. give this place a try, you'll be hooked though! Daily specials are b/w 2pm-5pm... and Monday Nights.
I believe the actual name of this restaurant is Mamma's Sushi, but anyway...
PRICING: Decent, not more expensive than most places. Their $5 dollar specials are now $6 specials, but they're still good!
SERVICE: It's a nice little restaurant, some servers are a bit hard to communicate with (language barrier I guess), but are friendly... sometimes 4 different servers will pass by and ask you the same question, and then other times you have to call for attention... but overall they are good.
RESTROOMS: It's a one person restroom, but always clean.
SEATING: They have a bar area, facing a flatscreen tv, if i recall correctly. Booths for a more cozy environment, and tables and chairs for larger groups... i believe they said they can accommodate a group of 20 max.
What else... just check it out! (I just really wish they had a frequent customer program or something for us loyal guests...)
