Since 1991, our vision for KABUKI Japanese Restaurant has been to create high-energy, family-friendly and value-oriented Japanese restaurants. It is our everyday mission to deliver quality and freshness, great service, clean restaurants and value to our guests. The tireless efforts of Executive Corporate Chef Masa Kurihara and Master Sake Sommelier Yuji Matsumoto are aimed to attain total satisfaction from you. Love this place. I would eat it everyday if I had the money! This one is way better than the one in the Howard Hughs Center. It's best to go for lunch because it is much cheaper and you get the same portions.

This place suck!!! the sushi is not authentic, over price, too crowd, wait is forever long. I use to go her when it barely open. I would go because sushi was half off, and the sushi was good and the server already knew me. I just went recently and it sucks. The sushi was just wrong in every way. The fish smell fishy, the rice was mushy, portion got smaller, the server forgot my order twice. This place got too trendy and mainstream. I suggest not going here...

Price is about average with other sushi places. Quality is decent. Interior is good, though a little noisy if you're looking for a more quiet type of sushi bar. Onyly real con is the parking since it's a high traffic area.

Totally different look made me feel like I was in a different restaurant. They renovated their inside sign. Looking very nice!!! The food and service were excellent when I went there!!

I HATE THIS RESTAURANT

the reasons why i hate this restaurant because their service is so bad. they gave you wrong order or they forget to input your correct order in their machine. so you'll have to ask them again if where is your order. their food is not good. it doesn't even tastes sushi. their prices are expensive, its not even worth it. and the reasons why they have so much waiting list not because they're really good, but its because people just want to show others that they are eating at the expensive food, then people will think that they're rich. I WILL RECOMEND YOU TO KARUTA JAPANESE RESTAURANT IN BUENA PARK. i dont work there but im just telling you to try eat there and you'll see what i mean. the first time i eat there, i am not expecting to be that good, but as soon as i tasted their dishes, i don't want to eat at kabuki anymore.

bad service is one thing...

how about NO service? My husband, son, and I went last night. We were in business casual attire (no reason to ignore us, right?). I stood at the front desk, waiting to be seated. SEVERAL employees milled around, some flirting amongst each other... NO ONE spoke to us. We waited several minutes... nothing. NO service whatsoever. After several minutes we left. Such a pity I will never be returning - the sushi was decent both in quality and price. But I will take my business elsewhere.
