OMG!! The food is off the chains!!! A friend recommended I try this place and boy am I grateful to him. I went for the buffet and enjoyed every morsel. The food is so delicious. It was a bit on the spicy side BUT I like it HOT!!!
We've been to this restaurant 2 days ago . we ordered
1 chick biryani and 1 goad curry with naan. Food was not fresh and it looked like they just put that in micorwave and served it. so pathetic was the taste.
goat curry was very sticky with just 2 pieces. and looks like they did not use basmathi rice for biryaani.
we simply paid the money and left the hotel withou eating .
they claim as hyderabad stype and indian style. it was no way near to indian stype.. dont ever go there
Go for the lunch buffet, very much worth it. Mutton and chicken curry are both very good. Good value for money if you go for the buffet. Only downside is the place is small so go early (11-11:15) or late (post peak lunch hours, especially on weekends).
We went for the lunch buffet, and although we found the buffet table, we couldn't find the food. They had 3 different types of rice, but you could only have 1 type at a time because the other 2 would be empty. The food was rarely refreshed and was cold most of the time. When I went to get the chicken tikkah masala, there was only masala, no chicken. The mutton curry only had sauce and bones. When I went for the pakora I thought there were only crumbs left, until I saw the waitress bring more pakora, only to find out that the crumbs were the actual pakoras. The waitress would bring us 3 pieces of naan at a time, for a group of 7...where's the logic in this, I mean we asked 3 times and she wasn't able to figure out that 3 pieces of naan just wouldn't suffice. Regardless she wasn't the friendliest person either. The real owner was somewhat nicer, but overall after this experience it really wasn't worth $10 per person for average tasting food, but less than average service and quantity. Maybe the menu items are different, but the buffet is not worth it.
Do not, under any circumstances go to this restaurant..unless you want to burn your mouth and you want to get ripped off......any meat dish that you order, you will get either bones with a lot of gravy or a few morsels of fatty meat.....they are extremely stingy with the portions. Their food is not authentic indian, the prices of appetizers and drinks are outrageous and their service is terrible.....spend 25 dollars per person and after the meal, go to burger king because you will still be hungry....go to ashoka just opposite them if you want great indian food .
