Golden Wall Chinese Cuisine, La Mirada

Not worth a $44.+ delivery. I tried this place for the first time today and I will never again order from them. Not worth the money! My kids and I love Orange chicken. Theirs looks scary burnt and the sauce is red like blood not your normal ORANGE chicken! And made me feel sick to eat. It didn't taste burnt though just looked but I no how much we all love orange chicken and none of us got seconds and now I'm left with a full carton of it!. Sucks! And if the brown rice they gave me is the normal? My kids said they looked like Krispies (the cereal), nasty! Should have ordered fried rice. MY bad! Any who not all was bad just our favorite and so mad to have paid $48.w/tip for our family of 3. i was hoping for tasty left overs but instead sure it wont be the hit I had hoped for tomorrow. The noodles with chicken was great, beef and broc great, K P chicken was hot and tasted slightly burnt but OK, The egg rolls great!. Still IN Search of a Great Orange Chicken Chinese Restaurant that delivers in Whittier. ( =.. Just trying to stop someone from ordering if you especially like and want Orange Chicken and maybe some good fried rice. So disappointed. But like I said the few other stuff was great!. Just not what we love the most...! )= *

I decided to try the Golden Wall because of the good reviews. I have mixed emotions. The servers were very friendly. I ordered the War Wonton soup, it was delicious. The chicken and shrimp were tender, snow peas were so fresh and cooked perfectly. I also ordered the orange chicken, it was nothing like I ever ate before. The pieces were huge with a very dark sauce. It was more like some sort of sugar sauce. Once it cooled down I felt like I was eating candy. It was very strange. I liked the idea of having brown rice with the meal, it was tender and had a great nutty taste. I would go back for the soup but try something else besides the orange chicken. I am not saying it was not good it was just very different from any orange chicken I have had in the past.

I ve never been here, but it s pretty dang OBVIOUS where all these positive reviews are coming from lol. Weird! Dishonesty is bad for business...

Very Good! Great Food and Great Service at reasonable prices. Best chinese food i've had at a casual restaurant. If you're in the neighborhood, you must try this place.

I dont know how all these reviews are so positive. Tried this place for the first time tonight and it was awful. The mongolian beef smelled like an outhouse and tasted just as bad. Never again.

One of the best chinese places I've ever eaten. Food is served fresh and is not sitting out on the trays all day like most fast food chinese restaurants. Food is cooked after u order. There is always left overs for the next day, platters come in large portions. They have the best won ton soup-never had better anywhere else. Highly recommended if u live or stopping nearby.

This place blows all the other Chinese Cuisine restaurants out of the water. Flavor in every bite that seems to never end. You will get your fill and then plenty of leftovers that are just as good all over again. I have found my happy place give it a try I'am sure you will too. We ordered a dinner for five at 15 mins b4 they closed for pick up. The food is cooked to order and very fresh.
