The service was great, food came out decently fast. They have the most delicious tommy rolls, mama cita rolls, and their edamame is free! A restaurant I eat at often. Must try sushi place in South Bay.
i do not recommend this place service mediocre food mediocre decor mediocre. Go to the one in Long Beach on Spring! They have better service food EVERYTHING! or the one in Hermosa on PCH! both places are GREAT this one not so much
Love the food. One of our favorite places for Sushi. We've been there 3 times since Nov 2008 and sushi has been awesome! (Servers can forget about you at the sushi bar so you may have to wave someone down to get more green tea...)
i will never go back there
it's not the first time seeing the sushiman not washing his hand!!!
first time(@manhattan beach location) i didnt say anything cause the sushiman was not making my sushi (feel sorry for the ppl who ate sushi made by that sushiman) its just wrong
but this time,(@torrance location) oh no my sushi chef didnt was his hand before making MY SUSHI!!!!! asked the sushiman to remake it after washing his hands with SOAP!
i wonder how they make their food in kitchen where customer can't see how they make the food.
nesty.... will never ever go back
We love Fusion Sushi. The food is fresh and beautifully made. The service is very good. The house ginger salad is a great addition to your meal. The chefs work quickly and efficiently to prepare your choices, and the prices are very good.
Horrible sushi chefs' attitude! One actually sneered at me when I asked if he remembered my order since my lady had already eaten hers while I still was waiting for mine. And he was filling orders for other guests. Then he made something for me that was not what I ordered, and it was not a freebie or something special either as some chiefs make for you on occasion. No satisfaction from the manager when I complained.
All-in-all a VERY bad experience. There's too many good sushi bars in the Southland to have to put up with Sushi Fusion.
A coworker turned me on to this place and my wife and I have been coming back regularly since. We like to sit at the sushi bar and have our saki and spicy tuna rolls up there, but we have ordered full meals in the restaurant proper and really enjoyed the food. The service can be a little slow, and depending on who is working the sushi bar, you may or may not get the attention you want, but all in all, this is one of the better sushi places I've been to in the local area. We will continue to go back as often as we can.
