Now I remember Why I Didn't Like It
Many (maybe 20+ years ago) I ate there and didn't like it but couldn't remember why. But tastes change. Tonight I found myself in the neighborhood and hungry, so I decided to give it aother try. Probably never again.
The spaghetti meat sauce had an odd flavor - can't put my hands on it - but odd. Flavorless yet odd. The soup I believe was Campbell's. The salad was just lettuce with a few pieces of cabbage and drowned in some kind of Italian dressing. The garlic bread was great; the cheese bread not so much.
The waiters were silent, pretty much rolling up their rolling carts with the food. Zero ambience. And, like a coffee shop, you pay at the desk.
Now . . . I remember why I didn't it.
But, if you are hungry, the value is good - just not the taste, ambience or service.
