Do not buy gift card

Our daughters bought us a gift card and when we first used it the girl had trouble and could not give us a printed receipt. We had about $12 lef on the card and went back today. I ordered and gave the girl the card. After several trys she told me the card showed deactivated and I could not use it. We had been there several times and Paul the owner was standing right there. I asked for his help and explained the problem on the first visit and he said there was nothing he could do as he has a lot of gift cards out there. I told him that when my daughters purchased the card they were told there might be a problem as the machine was working right but to just keep the receipts, which we did. Paul would not budge and became quite rude so we left. I do not understand an owner who would treat his customer that way. Another customer who watched this told my wife that this was his first time there and that man was rude to also and that he would never go back. He could not believe it when we told him he was the owner.
