Being married to a Salvadorian I know something about Salvadorian food, and this food was alright.
The pupusas were very good and not oily at all, total price for 2 meals was just shy of 14.00.
Very reasonable, the enviornment could've been a little cleaner, and they didn't have any casamiento when we went so all in all we give it a 3 out of 5.
YUM! This was our first experience with El Salvadorian food, and we loved it! Just a little hole in the wall joint with great service and delicious food. The prices were VERY reasonable... a combo with a drink was under $7 and we left very satisfied.
If you search for real Pupusas in Orange County, then you should go to Nancy's Pupuseria. This place carries the real Salvadorian pupusa-making techniques and, above all, served pupusas not soking in oil. Nancy's pupusas are a climax of delicious flavors that will take you back to El Salvador. These Salvadorians are so good and clever that they also serve Argentinian food as well as Mexican. Although they have Enpanadas as well as Burritos, you want to sample Nancy's Pupusas because they will satisfy your craving for real Salvadorian Pupusas.
Wow for being a little hole in the wall, it's a very good place. Prices are very affordable, very clean, and DELICIOUS Food, I've had pupusas and tamales all my life, these carry that homemade quality. ALL THUMBS UP!
Me and my parents have been going to this family operated Pupuseria. The pupusas are awsome and taste like the real thing. They are not greasy like many other places. The only bad thing, they usually close too early. But the best Salvadorian food in the OC!!!!
