I was a frequent diner here for years, but after Landry s took them over the quality of the food nose dived. I never eat here anymore

If you like big proportions that are plentiful to feed a country, this is the place to be. However if you actually like your meat cooked in a way that is edible, then stay far from this place. I have ordered the ribs and country fried stake. Definitely stay away from the ribs! Basically you will get a dry burnt bones on your plate. Theres no sauce, or anything that makes it worth while to consume. The country fried steak or the chicken fried steak is definitely a specialty at this location. I mean its pretty hard to mess up mashed potatoes mixed with microwavable meat right? As long as you stay away from the seafood, steak and anything that requires effort to prepare well, you should be fine. The customer service at this location is not exactly the friendliest, and you end up being ignored if you want a steak knife. They actually had the audacity to tell me that the entire Claim Jumpers restaurant ran out of steak knives and the best they can give me was a butter knife to cut a 3 inch thick piece of meat.. After complaining to the manager, I got a steak knife like I wanted and a free desert for the make up. The chocolate cake was great, but the customer service was still a huge turn off. There are better spots like Black Angus, Outback or Red Lobsters down the street.

IT'S A FANTASTIC PLACE FOR TWO IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING SPECIAL, FOR FAMILY, OR JUST FOR HAPPY HOUR. THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC, LOOKING AT THE PRICE IS WORTH IT, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

my husband and me come here every year for our anniversary, love to order the lobster w/ filet mion steak. The waiters are excellent and the food is cooked to perfection.

I have tried to give this Claim Jumper a chance several times since it is the closes one to me. Only one time did I have a good experience. The service was okay, but the food was consistantly terrible! They have a very limited menu compared to the other claim jumpers, and don't even have the woodfire oven to cook the wonderful pizzas and calzones other claim jumpers offer. Other parts of the menu are also missing compared to the other claim jumpers, but most important the food isn't prepared as well, and the taste is not as good as others. Example would be the rotissorie chicken was over done last I had it which made it very rubbery. I got the california quesadilla once and it was put together very sloppy, hardly anything in it, mostly it was a the tomato salsa that was very spicy and made my stomach hurt. Very little beans, almost no avacado or cheese, horrible!! The list goes on, but I only have so many characters left to write this review. Go to a different one like Brea, it's worth not having a bad experience.
