Ivy at the Shore
The Ivy's tropical counterpart, Ivy at the Shore, offers the same delicious food plus icy island drinks, a 12-seat bamboo bar and beaut surfside view. Don't miss the sunset over the Pacific with a Fresh Pineapple Daiquiri or two.
It has downstairs seating and upstairs where the light house is and the bar is in the center where the light house was and windows all around with the view of the ocean and the nice view also Queen Mary very romantic.
You've missed LA if you haven't watched the sunset and star-gazed over an Ivy Gimlet. A little mint, a little lime - a great cocktail - and some of the most fantastic fried chicken around. Don't forget to order the hot fudge sundae. Pour-your-own-chocolate sauce!
I never really understood all the fuss made over The Ivy in Beverly Hills. Other than the great service, the food is mediocre and the setting cramped. The Ivy at the Shore, however, is a wonderful restaurant in a great setting with fabulous food. In particular, the sea food dishes here are wonderful, the restaurant more spacious and light and the service still impeccable.
