Warszawa Restaurant, Santa Monica

Omg! I've driven past this place for many years before visiting this establishment a few days ago. After reading several user reviews with high claims, my experience did not disappoint. The food was absolutely homemade tasting, fantastic and friendly service, and delightfully charming atmosphere. The outside bar was hopping, and in the summertime, this would be a nice place to hang out with what seems to be a dedicated local clientele, as well as visitors to Santa Monica. The only letdown was that I did not have any leftovers to nibble on that evening or the next. However, very little time will transpire before the next time my belly is full again with Polish delight!

Great atmosphere. It feels like you are dining in someones home. The place seems like it is family owned, most of the staff is polish. It is layed out like a house with several small rooms. It is quaint and quiet inside so it is a good place to go for just good food and easy conversation. All the food I have had is very good. My favorite dish is the Beef Strogenoff. They also have a nice bar space behind the building. It is outdoors and they have a giant screen and couches. I have never had to wait to be seated at this place. It is one of the places I will take people from out of town to.

Warsawa was an extraordinary dining experience. The bacon-wrapped plums were my favorite part of the meal, but eveything else was excellent as well. Wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Ambiance is exquisite. I will make this a habit whenever I go to Santa Monica.

The service was horrible. The food tasted as if it had been emptied from a can. The chef specializes in Sushi, so why was he the chef of a Polish restaurant? Chef Grzybowski should stick to what he knows. The prices were too high for the incredibly poor taste of the food!!

Warszawa is a delight to have in Santa Monica! It stays true to Polish food, the prices are reasonable and the space is charming. When you walk in, it looks like a converted home with nice and cozy rooms. Definitely try the duck. It was outstanding!

Fabulous Fabulous Fabulous... We went back once a week for a month once we discovered the place and bring all visiting friends there... great food... everyone has always loved what they ordered... never a single complaint. And definitely order the bison grass vodka. Something you don't get most places.
