With fresh pasta and delicious takes on traditional recipes, you know you're going to have an amazing meal at this friendly Italian restaurant. Fritto Misto is known for its causal and welcoming atmosphere as well as its big entree portions. Try the tasty gnocchi gorgonzola pasta or the spicy shrimp ravioli for that extra zesty kick. If you don't see anything on the menu you like (as impossible as that sounds), then you can create your own pasta and pick out exactly what you want. End the meal with a Lemon Bar dessert with is so light and refreshing you'll want to order seconds.
Ok, this doesn't feel quite like Rome, but if you're looking for an unpretentious place in Santa Monica to fill your tummy with pasta, this is the place. Not too fancy, and sometimes crowded, Fritto Misto serves up killer pasta with good-sized portions (except for the ravioli dishes). There are plenty of healthy choices on the menu, which is nice. Go here. Or not.
I love this place! I've been to it 3 times so far and the food has been top notch every time. The make their pasta fresh every day (from what I've heard) and you can definitely taste it. The portions are pretty big for the price so you definitely get your money's worth. The desserts are great too. Service has been friendly and its a very simple but comfortable restaurant.
I loved Fritto Misto since the first time I ate there, on accident no less. It has DELICIOUS ravioli and pastas and I havent' had one dish I could complain about yet. It's comfortable, casual, low-key, reasonably priced and the staff is friendly... I bring friends here over and over again and Fritto Misto has made fans out of all of them.
