Fritto Misto, Santa Monica

We were visiting from Japan. Our friend recommended us. It was something I never tasted in my life, as least in Japan or even in Italy!! unforgettable. The one we ordered, there was lobster.

Fritto Misto has great food! Try the pillows with pink sauce. You can also bring your own wine- corkage is $2 per person. The place gets busy, so prepare to wait, but it's worth it.

I love this place. Especially the bread. It's amazing! All the food is good too, and lagre portions are good for splitting.

GREAT FOOD but owners idolize themselves. the food comes in great portions and is great. i recommend the pink pasta with chicken. the salads are also very good, and so is the bread.

I have eaten here twice and each time is wonderful. The decor is very casual and bistro like. The food is wonderful and the prices are great. I love it. I will eat here every time i visit LA.

It's a very casual place with excellent pasta and salad. For the quality of food, it is very affordable. We were in a large group, and while it is a small restaurant, they were able to fit us comfortably. Call ahead for reservations though, as it gets crowded.

I live around the corner, and when i moved in, i would see people waiting around to get in... so i finally tried it, and am now hooked. this is one of those places that has GREAT food for totally reasonable prices. sometimes you have to wait, but they really try to hustle to make it bearable. the owner is a super nice guy, and his staff of managers is awesome. my favorite is beth, from boston, she works the night shift. once you become a regular, you won't regret it! your waistline may, but FYI, their salads are amazing, too.
