What makes Busby's the best sports bar? Busby's food is FANTASTIC! How many of you specifically go out for dinner to a sports bar in Santa Monica or L.A.? Exactly. We pack it in with dinner reservations, followed by a hot young dance crowd that comes for the late night club scene, which is another sport unto itself. Busby's food is not your normal bar grub, although we have amazing Buffalo wings, fantastic pizzas and the Best Burger in town . How 8bout an incredible filet mignon, super tender, slow-cooked BBQ brisket, pulled pork, baby back ribs, country fried chicken, incredible pizzas, 20 different good Ol' boy sandwiches & salads, and authentic Mexican food. A feast!!! An incredible, comfortable dining experience, while in the background, any game of your choice, any sport, anywhere in the world, is shown on 50 huge plasma TVs for the ultimate sports bar experience. Busby's is the only sports bar that serves a complete breakfast Saturday and Sunday and offers a champagne sports brunch on the weekends.
I like this place enough to go there, but not enough to go there a lot. The seating is cool, but the bar tenders are all kind of fast talking girls that think they are funnier than they are. It's a cool after work hang out when it's not too busy, but once it picks up steam, it gets a younger, more annoying crowd.
I hate waiting in line in Santa Monica I really do. But if you don’t get here early that is just what you will do. Once inside it is usually packed full of 23 year old party girls and the guys that love them. Their tacos are pretty good and every time I go there I always feel 10 years younger. I would recommend coming after work it’s a pretty cool happy hour spot once the summer is over.
Free pool (2 pool tables and 1 bumper pool), dancing (great music) starts around 10:30pm - it gets pretty packed because of the small dance area. Plenty of plasma screens showing all of the great sporting events. Bar waitresses are freindly and tend to take good care of there customers. To avoid dealing with a cover charge and a line, I suggest getting there before 9pm.
Many young people, ample space, a wide variety of music and an awesome smoking area, make this the best all around bar in Los Angeles!!!! The staff is friendly and accomodating. High quality, and inexpensively priced food is avaliable as well. This bar gets full with attractive and generally very friendly people very fast on the weekend, so come early. Also offers free biliard tables, wireless internet, backgammon, ping pong, and a plethora of tv screens to watch your favorite sporting event. By far the best and most versatile bar in Los Angeles!!!!!
