Redondo Beach locals love this cozy and friendly Mexican restaurant that serves good food at economical prices. Quaint green booths and ceramic tiled floors create a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Traditional Mexican cuisine is served here at great prices. Burritos, tacos and guacamole are all top choices that should not be missed. Beer and wine are available, as are choice sangria and margaritas. Only cash is accepted.

A definite favorite breakfast spot especially with kids. They can get their pancakes while we get a full blown Mexican Bfast. Good reliable service and fair prices.

It's not bad. It'll get you by and it's convenient if you live in the neighborhood. Certainly the best of the Mexican on Artesia between Aviation and Inglewood. But its not like mom used to make or anything. Most places in the south bay want to put ground beef in everything. Calimex uses shredded beef in beef dishes, like it should be. The food's not bad and the price is great.

The food here is wonderful. Friendly service and fair prices. Always a favorite lunch stop, also a nice place for a delicious Tex-Mex breakfast. Rarely crowded, a local secret. I recommend the enchiladas, they are perfection. I wish they took credit cards, remember to get some cash if you are buying for the group.
