I absolutely love this place. My husband and I will make the drive down there whenever we get a chance. Their crabs, oysters, and fish are delicious. Everything is freshly made. However, there are some days where you have to wait a little bit to be served because they are packed. But I guess that's because of their good food.
I've been eating here since a kid. This is the best and the freshest that sea food could get. My favorite is the fresh King Crab or spider crabs. You tell tem exactly how you want your food cooked and cut. Dont come dressed fancy come dressed to eat. I'm so glad this place is still around. Nothing else comes close.
JUST GOOD FOOD... KINDA LIKE FAST FOOD, BUT A LOT MORE PRICEY. WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF GOING FOR SUSHI, AS SOME OF THE STUFF IS OVERPRICED OR NOT FRESH ENOUGH. THEY CAN COOK WHATEVER YOU WANT, BUT IT MIGHT COST YOU AN ARM AND A LEG. YOU'RE PAYING FOR FRESHNESS AND QUANTITY.... 'CAUSE EVERYTHING ELSE IS LIKE FAST FOOD. HOWEVER, IT'S REALLY GOOD FOOD. AMBIENCE IS KINDA LOUD.
The seafood was very fresh. I liked the option of either choosing from a raw seafood menu or the cooked seafood menu. The crab was very good and so is the halibut. The prices are much easier to swallow than other chain restaurants.
This is a fish market with a difference: You can not only order raw and cooked fish to go, but you can point to the item you want, tell them how to cook it, and specify which sides you want. While it's being prepared, you get any beverages, smoked fish, or cold seafood salads you want, and wait for your number to be called. Everything's fresh, and there are hundreds of choices. There are also a number of pre-specified dishes you can order. The price is right, and you can pick as big or small a piece of fish as you want (up to a pound, I think). Tables are mixed-size picnic-type tables, so you may wind up sharing space with another family. Most customers seem to order huge masses of crabs or other crustaceans.
