Food was not up too par. View was great but then again I was there to eat. The drinks weren't either but then again I was there to eat. Most restaurants also have good drinks and a great view in the Marina.
The good - nice view, and not too loud. Service very mediocre, though not surly. I brought out of town guest after picking them up from LAX. We were seated immediately, and hostess reassured me that one guest's birthday would be acknowledged with cake, but that promise was forgotten. What was worse though was that the food did not measure up. Lobster was ordered at $55.00 and it was tough and rubbery. $16.00 salmon caesar salad was awful. Two guests were too polite to complain, but their meals did not look appetizing either. I Did not like the mandatory Valet Parking for a lot that was just steps from the front door and not at all full, because guests' luggage was in the trunk meaning the valets had access, not to mention the the extra expense for nothing really. In fairness, nothing was missing or disturbed. The outside patio was a nice setting and probably not a bad place to sit down just for drinks.
