I was told this was suppose to be the best pizza place on the westside. Not hardly. Mainly because the people taking your order and the delivery guys are asleep at the switch. Place looks dirty and disgusting and the food just ain't what everyone is bragging about.
The best pizza ever, they have many choices and tones of salads. I love their Hank's salad with home-made italian dressing. You can it there every day and do not get tired of the food. The best way is to call for pick up if you do not want to wait.
This was the first time I ate pesto pizza. Wow, this is great stuff. I loved it. This is something different than marinara sauce. I think everybody should try it if you get tired of marinara sauce. Next time I will try with B-B-Q sauce or white sauce which I have noticed that they have it too. They have salads and subs too.
Since there aren't a lot of eateries in Playa del Rey, I usually go here since it is in walking distance. Their buffalo wings are very good and decently priced. Burgers are very tasty as well. The chicken alfredo is another personal like, but their pasta for it is VERY long sometimes. The pizzas seem a bit small when you look at the box they're in, but they are usually overflowing with toppings. Sandwiches are good there, especially hot ones like meatball.
There are only like 3 tables indoors, so eating there is not always an option. It is a very small place tucked away at the SW corner of Manchester and Pershing. Although it's small, I haven't enocuntered slow service when ordering. Delivery is $2 to anywhere south of imperial, east of the 405, and north of Culver Blvd (if my memory serves me correctly). It is a nice place to go if you are nearby, but it is too small to be a great spot for visitors to the neighborhood (go to one of larger the restaurants on Culver Blvd instead).
I move from NYC a couple of days ago. I went to Hanks and got large pizza and now I would not be homesick anymore. I found a place where I can eat and not miss the great pizza I had at least once a week in my home town. What I like about the place that they have tons of toppings you can choose from and if you do not feel like waiting you can call them and order for pick up so you do not waste your time.
