Joe's Restaurant, Venice

I ve always eaten here in Joe s Restaurant. The food is very tasty, and the crew is very friendly to customers.

Have been here numerous times and the food and service have always been excellent. It has a wonderful, comfortable atmosphere in which you can actually have a conversation with everyone seated at your table without having to strain to hear. Hightly recommend!!!

I have eaten at Joe's at least 5-6 times over the past 7 years. When I first went, food was excellent and service reasonable. As time went on service became awful. At one visit, which was on my birthday and was a big deal for me, Joe was there and very attentive to another couple sitting next to us who he seemed to know. He made sure that everything was just right for them and ignored the obvious problems we were having. I went back recently and food was excellent, but service, while not horrible, was lacking. Too bad.

food. period. oh yeah, and joe's a cool guy. Visit here on a Tuesday night. Not too crowded and very fresh fish! perfect place to take that special someone. The food and wine list combine for the ultimate aphrodisiac!

Just great original food. Love it.

Joe is never there to cook. The helper does all the cooking. Not worht the price :-( P.S. The service is so so so is the food. Hair was found in the other table's food. The pAtion is dirty and smelly

Sunday, Feb. 18,2007 My wife and I have dined at Joe Miller's restaurant several times and always felt that the food and service were first rate. This evening we had an experience that I think we should bring to Joe's attention. We stopped at the restaurant at 5:30 PM. Knocked on the door. The receptionist was reluctant to open the door but signed that that the restaurant did not open until 6:00 PM and that they could not not take us until 8:00 PM. So we dined next door at Primitivo and had an excellent meal. We left Primitivo at 7:15 PM having consumed 4 glasses of wine, appetizers, main course and dessert. At Joe's this would have cost about $150.00. I looked into Joe's and all of the seats at the bar were empty and over 40% of the restaurant was empty. Joe, I wonder if your staff has developed attitude.

We love Joe's...been going there for many years and it never fails to please. Lunch at Joe's is one of the great bargains on the Westside. Dinner is a romantic treat! The food is always delicious, innovative and suprising. Joe Miller is a superb chef, and the wait staff is excellent. We go as often as we can. Truly the best restaurant in town!
