I love Rocco's. Family run, fresh food, a wood burning stove in winter, and a good neighborhood vibe. The pizza is great, so is the manicotti.
I find the food exactly the same as before. In fact new owner was the chef at Roccos for nearly 20 years before buying the restaurant. He's still cooking.
Loved the Rocco family but love Lupe & family too.
Well unfortunately, since the real Rocco family left the restaurant things are just not the same. Frank made a mean pizza hands down. Now the best Scampi pizza in town can only be found at Eve Roccos joint on PCH and Sunset. I do have to say that its not horrible, but it is now certainly greasy something my hear can do without!
