Im not fond of the Serving Spoon. The service isnt that great, and they could try to get better drinking glasses. The two times Ive been there I have always left the restaurant annoyed. The hostess at the front door who seated me on both occations starts off really nice, but then startes to walk by my table and looking at our plates as if she feels I should be done with my food. Really she just needs your table to seat the incoming people who are waiting on a table. Sorry I dont eat fast enough for her....and I went back a 2nd time to give the great Serving Spoon a 2nd chance...Well she did the same thing and this time actually asked if we were done...so basically we needed to leave.....(both occations we were there no more than an hour=thats including the time it took for our food to be prepared)
What a wonderful experience. Down home cooking and hospitality that can not be matched. The food is some of the best in Southern California, served timely with gracious smiling staff who never fail to greet you as you come in and when you leave.
I absolutely love this restraunt the food was great and the service.i have one dislike and that is the closing time sometimes you have a craving for breakfast at dinner and you dont want to go to dennys the serving spoon is great!!!
