Love, Love, Love this place. I know it's crowded and the parking is limited but, well worth the trouble! Like others have said, bring a tablecloth, candles, and wine to complete the experience... The food is Fab! I am from New England and used to eating fish fresh off the boat...that's what you get here. If you are looking to be pampered with table service and no waiting this is not the place for you. Usually there is a line of people waiting for their number to be called over the speaker to pick up their order. Just the kind of fish shack I frequented as a kid. Don't know of another place like it as far as quality of food and taste!

Make sure to try the BEACHY CREAM ice cream sandwiches! They were a perfect end to a perfect beach meal!

Malibu Seafood is the best seafood restaurant in Malibu and surrounding areas. It provides excellent and friendly service with an incredible ocean view. The food is excellent and the owners pride themselves on selecting fresh fish and food daily. They have three outdoor patios for casual outdoor eating and entertaining. Bring your own tablecloth, wine and candle for fun & romantic ambiance. Deifinately worth the experience!

This place initially was a draw back to the old fish stands of the 50's....still good clean food, no waiters, it's all order and self pick up and clean up. Fresh fish daily! and fabulous Clam Chowder soup, other eateries boast of the clam chowder but let me tell you THIS place has got all of them beat. There is a daily list of fresh entrees, and the stand by of large pieces of cod fish fried, fish and chips, Ahi burgers, Fish Tacos, Tuna burgers, you name it, friend combo plates...this place is unfortuantely too crowed these days, have been coming out here for 19years, seen it undergo more parking...nice patio umbrellas, all and all it's the last stand you'll see out here in the beach that has fab food!!, catch a sunset., no breakfast,,,

I would consider this place better than average. I believe they have changed the Chowder lately and it is much better now than it was previously. Outdoor seating only. CAUTION WHEN YOU LEAVE THE PARKING LOT !

Reminds me of a New England Clam Shack. Parking is limited so you usually end of parking on the 101. Watch the traffic!! Two daily specials of fish, always very fresh. No indoor seating but the outdoor areas are somewhat protected and offer great views. Bring your own wine/beer if you so desire as no liquor license. Suggest you order the clam chouder as a separate order and your main entree separately. That way the sou comes up pretty fast so you do not wait that long to eat, and by the time they call your number for entree you've finished chouder and rest of food is still warm. They also sell fresh fish which it top notch! Bring a cooler with you if you have a long drive. no frills, good value, phenomenal views.
