Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, El Segundo

The steak quality doesn t match Fleming s price. I had the bone-in ribeye and it s simply not a steak worth $50. Not very tender and too much cracked black pepper, overwhelming whatever flavor the fine beef might have had. The center of the steak was cold and boderline raw, not rare, raw. The happy hour is lively here, though, if you want to go for a burger and a beer with the boys, that might be a good time. As for my steak dinner and the money I spent, it s 1 out of 5 stars. I ve made a better steak on my backyard bbq grill, and I m no chef.

At first this place was at the top of its game. These days the service has gone downhill as the prices went up a bit. At first the servers were inspired professionals. Last few times they seem to me more like temp workers. One didn't seem to have a clue, especially in making wine suggestions. Another used an unsigned crumpled receipt with an adding mistake to close out the tab, because it resulted in a higher tip for him than the signed and correctly totaled receipt I left in the check jacket. On my last visit we got to enjoy an ear-splitting fire alarm and smoky dining room with dessert because someone in the kitchen made a mistake with one of the ovens. I am not sure if it was the salad or the medium-rare ribeye that decided to agonize my belly from 2 until 4am that same night. I'll probably go back, but I really hope they can reverse the trend that makes me view them as more Outback every time I visit. I must confess though, the lava cake continues to gratify the senses every time I visit.

this place is for sure one of the few places that i can say that has great food with great services. the steak is like butter when you cut into it and it's perfect, no salt or pepper needed. my boyfriend and i have gone there a few times and the service was consistent. very friendly, each time the manager has come by to ask how are things and i know i have gone to other expensive restaurant and everyone is too busy to even check on you. i love that place.

I went here for a company lunch, the steak was fabulous and the cream spinach the best. The service was also excellent, my wine was never empty, not sure it is a place I would go for a date but a great place to take friends and colleagues…
