Im a blonde with blue eyes and I got a table there within about 15 seconds of arriving. I had the he he... foot long ! I also met the legendary sandman.... creator of sandnames !! so cool.
The setting is magnificient, the cuisine delicious. This place was Holiday House, a high priced hotel catering to celebrities such as Sinatra, J.F.K. and Marilyn Monroe. You will see celebs here. Lunch time for me is the best or a Sunday dinner. Very romantic...your date will be very impressed...top service.
Went to Geoffrey's for my bithday dinner with a friend tonight. During the year I have brought five of my friends for a birthday dinners because it has a beautiful ocean view and the food is good. My friend explained it was my birthday and this my sound petty but I expected a dessert and candle for my 65st birthday. Instead we were overcharged and on the bill we were charged for 3 mojitos and one arnold palmer (what ever that is) we had none of these. Also we were charged for a extra apple martini we didn't order. We finally got everthing taken off the bill. The whole night seemed annoying
My husband and I spent our first wedding anniversary at Geoffrey's and it was divine! The atmosphere was wonderful, the staff great and our meals were delicious. We will most definitely go back.
Thank you Geoffrey's!
Everything was very tasty, but my major concern was for vegetarian customers. The only choice for an entree was polenta, which is very uninteresting. Need a few choices for your vegetarian customers that are more inviting. We asked for a pasta entree, perhaps, but none were offered. There are many vegetarians who would like a few choices when going to such a lovely restaurant. An extremely enjoyable experience, with this one exception.
Beautiful view but profoundly unimpressive food. I had one of the worst Caesar salads I've ever had (just about inedible) at the most outrageous price I've ever experienced too. Across the board, the food stunk. (and I was with a large party, so I both sampled other dishes and heard people's reviews) I will never go back.
I went there to celebrate my wife's B-day, never been before. It was a pleasant surprise, the view, the ambiance, and all of the surroundings were very pleasing. Service was good, not the best, but good. The food was also good, probably a little too sweet for my taste and expectations were a bit higher. Prices were reasonable for the type of restaurant. I do recommend it and its a place I would definitely go back to.
WILTED CELERY AND A DEFORMED SLICE OF LINE IN THE BLOODY MARY. TABLE TOP NEED REPAINTING. WHEN YOU PUT FRUIT ON THE SAME PLATE WITH THE EGGS BENEDICT, PUT THEM IN A BOWL SO THE JUICE FROM THE FRUIT DOES NOT MAKE THE CROSSIANT SOGGY. SALMON WRAPPED IN PROCUTTIO, DRY AND ONLY THE CENTER WRAPED.
DESSERT MENU HOLDER DIRTY AND FALLING APART.
THIS RESTAURANT NEED ALOT OF WORK.
