The manager at the banquet room was not nice to me and also try to charge an unnecessary extra clean up fee after words. The food is ok but the staff needs to work on good manners. There wasn't a dress area or backstage for the dancers to change . This place is too expensive so they should invest in a nice dressing area for performers to change. Change in the bathroom is RIDICULOUS and reminds me a scene from the biography movie of actress Dorothy Dandridge when she has to use a Dixie cup as a toilet.

After having extremely negative experience at both the Gaylord locations in Vegas and San Francisco, I had to be nearly dragged to lunch at this location. To my amazement, this branch was fantastic. Clearly operating with their own local values, lunch here was a top notch experience. The Beverly Hills branch should send their wait staff, chefs and management to their other locations to preach quality and service where it's truly lacking. Thank you to Gaylord of BH for instilling some faith back into me to your company, although when in SF or Vegas I'll still choose the Star of India or Tamba over the local Gaylord restaurants in a heartbeat.

I WILL RETURN

The food was unbelieveable. Our waiter was most helpful, informing us of the provinces where the food originated. The samosas are the best I've ever had. All in all a memorable evening with two of my favorite people. We all had a great meal and a great evening.

Poor Service, Decent Food, Nice Ambiance
By ,
The food is okay - the ambiance is very nice, but the service is just awful. Took too long to get served and the manager (Mansoor) of the restaurant was incredibly rude and told us that as women, we should understand how long it takes to cook. I will never go back. Stay away!

We like the buffet, the service, the music in the background and the beautiful decorations. Makes me feel like home. Food is delicious and fresh.

Pretentious and terrible
By ,
As the first customer for dinner, and the only one for about an hour and a half, I was kept waiting for 25 minutes for a waiter and finally got up and asked for one. After ordering, I wiated 40 minutes and had to ask again where the food was and how lmuch longer it would take, as I was the only customer at the time so the kitchen could not be backed up. When the food arrived, about ten minutes after I inquired, it was OK...although the lamb was very, very tough (had it been cooked properly in the psices it would have been much softer). The naan bread was OK, if somewhat burned and the Dal was also OK. Their menu lists two sizes of bottled Indian beer: I asked for the smaller one and was told that no smaller bottles of Indian beer were carried by the restaurant. Definitely not worth the money or the time.
