On our most recent trip to Waikiki, my husband and I decided to eat there for our first time. WE WERE TREMENDOUSLY SURPRISED! (at the FLAVOR of the steaks) Prior to our visit, we thought that it was just a pricey steak house. Our server gave us the secret: butter, salt, pepper, and parsley! Devine simplicity. Went down there on Saturday with few friends, not expect too much but end up a pleasant surprise of a great dining experience. My partners and I will become regular costumers from this point on.

steak was good , but for the price i expected more. best was the bbq shrimp before dinner. side dishes are large but average tasting.

This place is fantastic! Parking is ridiculous so be sure to just valet. They have a very knowledgeble staff that know everything you'll need to know about wine and making the right selection for your meal. They're attentive, polite and very friendly. The steak is incredible! I love this place!

The steaks here are served buttered and on a sizzling hot plate! Everythiing is a la carte, but the steak melts in your mouth and can be cut with a butter knife. Excellent although a bit pricey.

Everything in the menu is a la cart. The meat comes on hot sizzling plates and can simply be refer to as: The best steak you can find in the west coast. The beef is aged to perfection and prepared with just salt, pepper and some melted butter on top. The sides on the menu include stuffed mushrooms, chunky mashed potatoes covers with cheese and cheese covered broccoli. The desserts are very much up to standards. Try the creamy cheesecake. The place can get a little loud sometimes. Definitely not your average Beverly Hills snobby restaurant, like some of the best places, it originated in New Orleans and it shows. When you need to boost your protein intake, you can't go wrong here. By the way, prepare to spend around $70 per person.

whats's there not to like. this place is the best. my cousin and her boyfriend, and my older sister and myslef took my mom out to dinner for her birthday on tuesday night. my cousin and her boyfriend picked the place out. they said that we would love it. we did. my mom had a blast at this place. she liked the food and everything. the service was great. lauren (our hostess at the time) would just come around and pour water into my glass without me asking. she would ask if we needed anything else and was always around. i loved the food. honestly i thought that this was just another rich person's restaurant with horrible food. but i was extremely wrong. i ordered the chicken. i have never tasted baked chicken with cream cheese before, but i know where to go when i want it again. the appetizers were great also. i loved the barbeque shrimp and the sweet potatoes. i never had anything like them before. i can honestly say, if you're looking for a quality, upscale, restaurant with great service, ruth's chris steakhouse is the way to go.
