Spago - Beverly Hills
Spago Beverly Hills, Wolfgang Puck's legendary, flagship restaurant, continues to set the standard for cuisine, service and style, and is consistently recognized as the ultimate in fine dining. Spago presents a completely new menu and design. The master chef has re-invented the entire menu with his signature farm to table philosophy. Puck, along with Managing Partner and James Beard Award-winning Executive Chef Lee Hefter, creates imaginative seasonal menus showcasing the best of California's produce and products. Spago's new design from Waldo Fernandez complements the food with its clean and simple aesthetic, incorporating natural elements to add an organic feel. Spago is the recipient of the AAA Four Diamond Award and received two stars in The Michelin Guide-Los Angeles edition, one of only three restaurants in the city to win this coveted distinction. In 2010, 2011 and 2012, the restaurant earned the prestigious Wine Spectator Grand Award, the publication's highest honors.
My brother, my sister and I went there to celebrate our birthdays and had a great time. No celebrities, no Puck but great food and service. I wanted to try the wine sampler and they did not have it so we received a veggie pizza on the house (my brother just became a vegan). The manager came around several times to check on us.
Prices weren't as high as we expected and the food was delicious. I would go again for a special occasion.
Attire was casual, people in jeans and others dressed to the nines. All in all, felt comforable with the atmosphere.
food is awesome, really the best in town. Service is ok when they are very busy, otherwise it's excelent.
The place is classy, very good ambiance, etc. really to have a business dinner or take your date, none of them will be disapointed.
Don't go with jeans!!!, everyone dress nice there.
Every year at Christmas we travel to Ca - our anniversary is always spent at Spagos - the 22nd and always was great - This year,,,,Horrible - Sevice was not up to par and the food was way way below par!!! Duck was not edible, steak was fatty and the scallops were good but can not believe they were cut in half to look like a full serving!!!! Needless to say, it will be a long time before I return....I do believe Wolfgang is putting all of his efforts and good help into Cut - where the prices are higher but the food is great....sorry put your money some place else.
OMG, all I did was go with a friend. It was my first time ever being in California, and I loved it. I had great great service, and an awesome waiter, named Terry. I loved him. I would love to request him and go again!
The food was the worst I have ever tasted. The service was so bad that I could see paint dry faster than they could get my dinner to me. Overall I would recomend McDonalds over them in sevice and in quality of food.
the food was excellent. we started off with a hamachi and tuna sashimi appertizer which was very delicious and well-prepared. later i had pan-seared organic chicken, which was so tender and tasty. likewise, my company also enjoyed their meals. after we finished dining, wolfgang puck came around and shook our hands. overall this was one of the best meals of my life, be sure to check it out.
