If you want to treat all your senses, walk into Fridaan authentic Mexican restaurant. This place is agog, lively and very well-known for its gourmet food. You can choose from a large variety of dishes that leave you wanting for more. Wrought-iron candle stands and colorful tiles lend an understated elegance to this eatery. The posh tequila bar features a happy hour with a special bar menu from 3:30pm to 6:30pm each day. Heart-warming hospitality, coupled with delectable food, makes Frida irresistible!
Well,I don't know where the guy below this comment went to eat but Frida was pretty OK for me and...I'm Mexican so I think I know something about Mexican Food...Service was good, the apetizers were the best and the Mole Poblano that I ordered was perfect...yes,it's true, you never going to find in any other country, real Mexican Cuisine like in Mexico(the same with sushi for example),but I'm going back to Frida this next Saturday.
Horrible. Don't let the ambience, decorations, or location fool you. This is the worst Mexican food in the world. And I've eaten Mexican food in Germany where there is little sense of Mexican seasoning. Absolutely every morsel is atrocious. From the first bite, I thought that Mexican food should never be made expensive. Mexican food is best served simply in clean, inexpensive, family restaurants. It doesn't belong served with corporate garnish.
This is a fine mexican restaurant where you can enjoy the fantastic salads or go with some very tasty appetizers. The entrees are very good, but I love the appetizers too much to have the entrees. Great home made guacamole and they have a pastry chef. The prices are reasonable. I've had some good business lunches there also.
What an awful restaurant. We went to the one in Glendale yesterday Father's day and not only was the service poor but the food didn't have a taste to it, chips and salsa (salsa was nasty more like hot sauce than salsa), food was over priced and the service was terrible. Me and my family will never again visit Frida restauant ever again.
If you want the best mexican food ever made Frida is the place to go. The first time I went there with my girlfriend about 4 years ago was because Ruth's Chris steakhouse was too crowded. We've been going back ever since. Unfortunately, I haven't sampled much of the menu because I order the enchiladas tapatias every time. It is spicy and perfect.
