For more than 25 years, I have eaten Thai food in the country of Thailand, at the home of Thai friends and at low to high end Thai restaurants around Los Angeles. The meal served to me was delicious, the serving bountiful and the price very reasonable. It was not the Thai food I have come to expect. I thought I had misread the outdoor sign. My thought at the time was: I wondered if the customers dining around me were aware that true Thai fare is so much more than what they were eating.
