The difference between this sushi place compared to others. Is two things, one great service and friendly staff including Sushi chef's which create a positive vibe in the restaurant. and two, delicious combinations of condiments with fishes that make tasty plates. B38 is my all time favorite roll...
I love this place. I been to diffrent sushi bars and out of the ones i been to this is the best. They are so unique with the rolls. Whats even better that they have there own story like the DUI LOL. The b38, vampire roll, dinamyte omg they are delicious. I dont know why u guys have had a bad experience. The times i been there have been great. I really do recomend Ichiban Sushi. The rolls are not small at all!!!! There smaller at Kabooki.
I love this place. It doesn't look like anything special but they have really great sushi. You have to try their Pong Roll, its unlike any other roll I've ever had. Really SPICEY tuna with cream cheese. Its like the peanut butter and jelly of the sushi world.
Having lived in the area for years I never once ate here being the procrastinator that I am until recently and to be honest I was not one bit disappointed.
Excellent atmosphere, very cozy and casual, the music selections playing added ambiance, friendly staff and speedy service and the menu was absolutely excellent, as for the food if you haven’t had Korean BBQ be sure to order a tray and throw in some Ebi Shumai to start things off with the deluxe sushi platter.
If you’re a rabid otaku this is the place to dine.
Upon entering you will be greeted with a loud Ira sha mase! My favorite sushi place! I have been to many sushi restaurants from the little hole in the walls to upscale sushi places. I don't know what it is about their spicy tuna rolls, california rolls, and just plain albacore and salmon sashimi! I love using thier ponzu sause instead of traditional soy sauce ( I even soak an extra lemon wedge in my sauce). If you don't like the seaweed taste on your rolls then ask them to use soy paper instead it's just as delicous! The miso soup and miso based udon are also yummy. For dessert the mochi ice cream is always good but the fried banana with ice cream is even better! It's a small place and gets crowded on the weekends.
