overall I was disappointed. I ordered the Ahi steak medium well and it came medium rare. I chose not to send it back, but a mistake like that should not have happened. Our table was just ok, it should have been better since the room was nearly empty. When we arrived the parking lot was empty. But when we left the valet had parked my car on the street. I could have done that myself and saved the valet fee.
I had always wanted to try this restaurant because I heard of it's Gothic ambiance. They remodeled and I would say it's still very nice, kind of French Harlequin-like now. We got a booth which was very private, you could have a pleasant conversation. The food was good, although my papardelle with mushrooms had slightly cooled on the surface. The service was great, but my biggest disappointment was seeing that they serve foie gras. If you like eating the liver of forced-fed geese, fine. But I will not return until it's off the menu.
