Are you serious? Hamburger was served in paper wrapper and fries on paper plate. Besides 2 burgers and fries we had 2 pieces of pie with ice cream and 2 soft drinks. It cost aroud $30 and we were very disapointed. Never again sorry. In and out is 10 times better!!

Been going here for 45 years. Here's the final word on the subject of "best" LA burger, this is the BEST burger in town discussion closed. I was a vegetarian for 15 years and the only reason I'm not still is because the hickory burger is just that damn good. In n' Out sucks. Father's office okay but too rich. $25 burger okay but it's a $25 burger for christ sakes. Apple Pan forever. Quality forever. You must have this burger before you die!

What makes this place so popular eludes me. The hamburgers are good but why not? They are like any other good hamburgers. Nothing special here unless you really like sitting up at a counter in a noisy place.

Stepping back in time! Great burgers & fries. The place has not changed in all my years and it's much older than me! Great pies too! A great treat and fun people watching.

Great Burger

The burgers and fries are delicious but overpriced... same with the pies. But, this interior and vibe of the place is unparrallel. No team of consultants and interior designers could create the authentic mood at Apple Pan!
