O-Bar Restaurant, Los Angeles

Food was amazing.. atmosphere and setting was incredible..Perfect restaurant for a nice romantic date.. Service was great waiters were very attentive.. I will definately go back again soon..

Everyone should try their mojitos! It is simply the best.!

I have heard rumors about some people not liking the food or service. I, and many friends, have been here several times and all of us had a great dining experience. Food excellent as was the service. Beautifully and different type of decor. Can't think of anything bad.

I was at OBAR on Thursday, 8/2/07 and have been going there for sometime now... I think its starting to attract some sleeze. After two good drinks and meeting a few new, cool people I went to the restroom to find two guys having sex in a stall. I'm not necessarily against people having a good time, but there are places to do that and OBAR is not one of them. Keep the place classy. That stuff is for the sleeze places in Hollywood.

We received terrible service at O-Bar. We dined there last night 12-23-06, after reserving on Opentable. I complained to the manager when I was leaving and all she did was defend her position that the lousy table they put us at was all that was available, even thought better tables sat open the entire time we were there. She said those tables were reserved for 8:45pm, the exact time we were leaving, yet no one had arrived for those tables. We sat down at 7:35pm. She defended the empty tables by saying the restaurant allows 2 hours for dining. We had to ask for ground pepper on the salad, more water, more bread, more wine. The waiter barely came by the table to check on us at all. A nearby table of women celebrating a bachelor's party were loud and drunk and annoying. The manager did say she was sorry for the bad service from the waiter, but I found her response inadequate. She should have offered us something for the miserable experience, but she didn't. Although the food was very good, the entire experience left me annoyed and agitated, for having spent over $100 for an ordeal no one should have to endure.

I went to the restaurant and was surprised, it had awesome surroundings, hot waiters, and great food... Not to forget awesome design... It's worth the price and the trip...

Really posh surroundings. The garden patio out back is amazing and really cool at night. Great food presentation, but a little pricey. Given the super posh surroundings, I didn't mind the price.

the obar is a cool looking place with large le�ther chairs, the waiters were super friendly and our order arrived within minutes. The bartenders are adorable. one drawback is the greasy calamari and tempura. the music was good, but too loud.

I have been dining at this restaurant for the 2 plus years it has been open and it has never been better. The new menu is outstanding and service compliments the chef's creations perfectly. There are so many dishes to choose from so I order differently every time and am never disappointed. What a treat!!! I would recommend this lovely place to anyone who is looking for a great deal and a perfect setting. Watch out World, this chef is amazing!!!! We love you, OBAR!!!
