Kings Road Cafe
In a town where what's in is so critically important, this bustling coffee-house is always a safe bet. Located near the always chic Beverly Center , Kings Road Cafe is a place where young entertainment executives, both working and aspiring, congregate from early morning until late in the evening to listen to pitches over their favorite snacks and drinks. The walls feature modern art and the lighting is bright. On particularly crowded nights, the noise level can be somewhat intense. Those looking to escape usually head for the outdoor tables-which are very popular with the dog-walking or chain-smoking breakfast and lunch crowds.
Interesting varied menu. Three in one is a bit of everything, all well prepared and delicious. Friendly, especially if you have a dog to take for visit and dog talk. Great way to begin a weekend. Consistently good. A little noisy inside, but worth it.
Kings Road is a great place to have a meal, either on your own at the end of a long day or with friends. The food is excellent, the blackened Ahi Tuna is particularly good. The portions are generous without being sickening and the attention to detail is high. The grilled vegetables were delicious, not an afterthought. I subbed sliced tomatoes for mashed potatoes and they were fresh, tasting of real tomato not some stand in. The place is extremely busy in the mornings, breakfast is also quit good.
fun to sit here and be in the mix with all the other players in town. food is always great and a great value. NO BETTER COFFEE in town. Latte's and black coffee , capaccinos all brewed to perfection. who needs red bull?
The huge crowd sipping margaritas in the bar is the first clue as to the popularity of this Mexican cantina.
The entire restaurant rolls with an upbeat, almost silly atmosphere. The wait on a Friday night can be anywhere ...
