The Little Door

Description

Two simple wooden doors open up to quite a buzz in an otherwise romantic courtyard, where a colorful crowd hangs at the bar and lingers at coveted patio tables. Inside, seats spread throughout the candlelit house-turned-restaurant with intimate furniture. Organic seasonal ingredients, creatively prepared and impeccably presented, characterize our unique menu.

most romantic restaurant, when you are sitting outside on a warm evening, you would swear you were in France

One of the most gorgeous dining spaces in LA. The outdoor patio, with low lighting & twinkling lights is especially romantic. Delicious French/Moroccan cuisine, with the Ribeye a standout. You'll hear French spoken as often as English, and if you're armed with a decent snob filter, you'll have a ball. Excellent wines by the glass and occasional inventive entertainment (flute player, painter).

Blink and you'll drive right by this hard-to-notice 3rd street gem. The quality has decreased in recent years, but the ambiance is still magical. Ask for a seat on the romantic patio.

One of the best restuarants in L.A. An enchanting garden environment - scrumptious, delicous food, great wine list and menu changes every week

Beyond the little door entrance awaits a beautiful patio strung with lights and ambience. The smokers at the adjoining patio bar reek of nicotine, pretentiousness, and desperation. The wine list is excellent...the menu is wonderfully french as are the waiters (or they are aspiring actors trying out their accents.) Great food, great service, great decor. A bit pricey but totally worth it!

The only negative about this place is that not matter what room you are in, it is always loud. Great food and a great experience. If you want romance ask the host(ess) to seat you in whatever room is least occupied.
