The Ivy, Los Angeles

Took my wife and sister-in-law and her husband who lived in L.A. in about 8 years ago, as we vacationed out there. Food was great. Got the "L.A." experience as we saw a certain star from a popular series of adventure movies who was there. While waiting for our car in valet, I turned and he was right behind me with his wife I presume, and I gave him a nod and a "hey" trying to play it cool like "I know who you are, but not going to make a big deal." He was like 3 or 4 feet from me. It was cool.

I went with my friends from out of town, and enjoy everything the food was great. The service was fantastic the waiter a guy from NY practically ordered for us. He was right on the money for food, and drinks. My wife was so happy because we felt like he knew us, and really impressed our guests. Can't wait to go back

Went there for lunch. Was expensive considering the quality of the food. Cramped. I don't think they care anymore and are open for celebrities yearning for attention, or tourists. Go around the corner to Chaya Brasserie and do yourself a favor....the food is better, and no tourists.

Put my computer away during a discrete business lunch? Really? It was only on the table for 15 minutes versus the obnoxious guest next to us on their CELL PHONE! I'll take my $300 client lunch elsewhere next time. Food was good but I can find better within 5 miles. Check your attitude, Ivy.

The Ivy is a very friendly, yet squishy resturant with great service and food.

Iconic LA. Sadly, I don't think this place is worth the fiasco.

If you con't see celebrity while you are here you leave disappointed - I got to see Leonardo Decaprio and his entourage. Food was not spectacular but it was a fun experience.

Beautiful restaurant, while eating you can listen in to conversations about the movie industry. The waiters were not attentive and the food was good but not great.
