RUDE, INCONSIDERATE, YELLING EMPLOYEES
CHEATING ON FOOD: DID NOT GIVE ME FOOD WHICH I PAID FOR
WILL NEVER RETURN.
The absolute WORST McDonald's Franchise I have ever been to!
We love the McDonald's snack wraps, so we came to this location and ordered 6, in addition to other items which totaled about $20. When we got home and opened the bag, one snack wrap was missing. Usually, this is no problem (at my local location, we come back and pick it up). However, I spent 10 minutes calling the location and nobody picked up! So, I called the 1-800 number listed on the bag and was kindly told to come in with my receipt and pick up my food later. When I came back to the drive through, they REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE FOOD I HAD PAID FOR! The male employee at the window started screaming at my family that the manager gave up all of the food; he refused to even serve us! Also, when I asked him for the 1-800 number to call back again, he started yelling and screaming at me that I already have it!
Finally, we left the location, WITHOUT THE FOOD WE PAID FOR.
Today was one of those mornings when I had to get up at 4 am and run many errands before getting to work at 8 am. One of my errands ending up across the street from McDonald's and not having stopped for breakfast, I decided to do the fast food route. I had heard McDonalds had introduced the chicken biscuit for breakfast from my mother so I decided to give it a try.
One of my major frustrations with fast food; beside the fact the in an average year I may only visit them four to five times, and my being in my mid 40's now, I really do try to stay away from this type of food, in addition to the frustration of trying to communicate with employees that no longer seem to understand or care about the English language. It seems that every time I venture to use the drive through of a fast food restaurant, you are forced to repeat your order 3 - 7 times, while correcting the employee on their obvious lack of being able to mimic a simple order. And what happened to the courtesy reply of that will be $4.65 please drive up to the next window, so you can be prepared with your change.
I digress, my disappointment with having to repeat my order numerous times, and practically yelling out my car window to an invisible person, who still gets the order wrong, (only three items and two of them were the same thing). When I arrived at work to take a moment to eat my breakfast I find it not only wrong, but the chicken, highly prized by McDonald commercials was tough, tasted like it was made yesterday and reheated in a microwave, what is with this. I was there before 8 am which typically is their busiest time, so items should taste fresh. I was so upset by the chicken condition that I first tried calling the store, was told basically I didn't know what I was talking about, so I offered to bring the biscuit back, minus a bite to show this disbelieving employee.
Not only is this a major inconvenience but, when I arrived I was treated like an idiot, which in retrospect, I must be to go through this motion for a biscuit that I should have just thrown away. But, since my first job at the age of 16 was working in a McDonald’s on a military base, I guess I was just thinking of customer satisfaction especially now-a- days, is vital to the successful operation of a business, and if a product is sold that leaves a distaste, so to speak, the operation should know about it, so they can improve on future operations. Not so here.
Long story short, I will stick to my constitution and no longer frequent fast food, I probably have outgrown this icon anyway.
