Pink's Hot Dogs, Los Angeles

Best there is. Once a year we drive the hour to L.A. just for Pinks. Strongly suggest the straight forward Chile Cheese Dog. If your really hungry, try the pastrami dog - Extra mustard. Bit of advice, order two cokes when you order your dogs - It's not worth waiting in line again.

Yuck...after i took a bite of the hotdog....I actually threw up! the fries were ok though.

Pinks is the bomb! Don't miss it! Plus they are open all night which is great!

Thought the food was average,The chili was a big disappointment

After hearing so much about this place we had to give it a try. It was well worth it. We ate here twice in 24 hours. Cant wait to try the on here in Vegas. Probably the best hotdog I have ever had.

The Real LA Institution!!!!! Pink's burgers and Hot dogs have not changed in more than 75 years!!! the Chili is superb and has never changed!! the fries added in about 1980 are not good at all... but that is the only thing at Pink's that isn't good...I craved the Chili for years living on the East coast where you can not find it... When I first went to Pink's hot dogs were a dime and the burgers were twenty five cents.... better go early because by 12 noon the lines are stretched up La Brea about two hundred yards..... ab fab !!!!

A popular dive with very cheap quality food and fairly high prices. All you have to do is look at their grill with previously frozen burgers swimming in a grease. Yuck. Hot dogs are OK... for those who never been to Europe or had a decent knockwurst at a deli or grew up eating Wienerschnitzel dreck. Ah, L.A., the city where mediocrity is celebrated and celebrities are mediocre. Pink's is that: a mediocre celebrity.

Pros: Excellent variety and fun hollywood recipe names. Staff is very personable and food is always tasty. Open very late. Great place to stop after clubs or late night parties. Cons: Long lines. On a main street so standing in line can be annoying. Overall: B-

Nothing will taste better when you are drunk than a Pink's hot dog. That is probably why there is ALWAYS a line at this little hot dog stand. Order two, you won't regret it.
