You're much better off going to Costco and getting the hotdog and drink combo for around $4.00. Pink's was ok, but definitely not worth the wait. Way over rated and over priced.

I hate to say it, but this place is quite overrated. I'd rank their dogs as just awful!

I am native to Los Angeles and recently started working in the Hollywood area. I see that crazy long line all the time and dont understand why tourists want to go here. Its not that great. I went a couple years ago and wasnt impressed. I take my hotdog pretty plain. The quality of the actual hot dog wasnt that great. I guess you'll like it, if they pile a bunch of stuff on it. But when it comes down to pure hot dog & bun...not so impressive. Unless they've become better quality in the last 2 years.

Pink's is by far the best Hot Dog in Los Angeles! But be prepared to wait in line...it's not uncommon for the line to wrap around the building...but it's worth the wait!

My husband and I are always looking for great places to go eat and we heard so much about pinks that we thought we should go and the wait in a 30 to 45 min line would be worth it ..... how wrong we were I was disappointed in the food as well as the service I know that some people swear by pinks as the best hot dogs around but in my humble opinion I had better ... would I ever even consider going back no thanks I rather just make the drive to tommys on rampart and have a hot dog there.

i'm a native angeleno and i just don't understand the fascination with Pink's. i did go there once and i wasn't impressed at all. i've had a better hot dog at Skooby's on hollywood blvd and i didn't have to stand in line for 30 minutes to get it. i understand the appeal to the stoner crowd who willingly stand in line, in any kind of weather, once the clubs/concerts let out. i'd rather eat one of those hot dogs wrapped in bacon that are sold out of the carts on street corners. it's the same kind of strange fascination that people have with Krispy Kreme donuts. it's a hot dog, people. get over it.

Check out the rest of the reviews.........need I say more. the best. except for the bad reviews that the hot dog eating posers left, they probably think weinershnitzel is the best. Pink's is one of the best and there are not to many out there.
