Folliero Pizza & Italian Food, Los Angeles

One of my cousins who recently moved to LA knew how much I loved pizza. When he found a Pizza place he invited to dine with him there. That place was Folliero Pizza & Italian Food at North Figueroa. It was an excellent pizza place. It also served a diverse and delicious selection of Italian food.

This neighborhood styled pizzeria in Highland Park with a kinetic vibe that makes the place hum. The staff are very loyal to the owners and the owners have 100% confidence in them and it shows. I've lived in NYC, Boston, Philly and Folliero's has that welcoming family like feeling. Folliero's is a thin crust pizza with a slight sweet side, sometimes crisp and you have to get it hot. They don't deliver so that means eat-in or take-out. If you're taking out, make sure you are no more than 10min out. I'm a big fan of their white pizza's, the Bianca and the Romano. Tip: This is a CASH only, NO reservations Service not a 5-star so you'll have to be active and flag someone down occasionally. You may have to wait and if you do take advantage of the wait and read up on the menu and be ready to order when seated. Food sometimes doesn't always come at the same time, but the wine is cheap and portions hearty.

Best Homemade Italian food, not just there great pizza..When ever I go the place is pack, that in itself said something.....

PLEASE READ....thanks for the reviews, most people posting few stars here just seem like they're so negative and they're trying to get you. i dont understand that. i usually look at the few stars first and see what others say. I've been here a couple of times and the pizza is awsome. only had one dish ( spaggetti meat balls) it was ok, meatballs were good and sause too, pasta was cooked to much, but that only happend once, hopefully the other dishes are as good as the pie. Great place to go to.

It's true... not the best customer service, but what do you expect for low prices? I expect great tasty food, and that's what they offer. If you want 5 star service, then go to Spaggo's. This joint is mainly about the food.

I have been going to this place for years but after the new owner took over( a woman) it has become an unfriendly atmosphere. My husband and myself noticed tension in the place after she took over. She stands around with a fake smile. We like the old Folliero's Pizza much better. We stopped going after a couple of different occasions!!!

I went in there on my lunch break just wanting a slice of pizza. I never been there before so i ended up having to buy a small pep. pizza for 6 something. They only take cash and all i had was five. They gave it to me anyway. I took a bite and it was at that point that i had found the best tasting pizza in the world!!!!! I'm not exaggerating. I had ate the whole pizza in probably less than 5 minutes. I highly recommend this place to everyone. I ordered to go and from what i could see, they run a great business with great customer service. I'm going back with my family very soon. PIZZA IS THE BEST I'VE EVER TASTED!!!!
